Summer of 2017. One of the most amazing holidays I have ever been on, in the gorgeous Oahu, Hawaii. It has been my life long dream to visit Hawaii, and I can't believe at 17 I have already been able to go! It definitely lived up to its expectations. I know this post is a little late, but when I went I wasn't blogging, but I still had to share this holiday!

Where is somewhere you have always wanted to travel to?

I have always loved myself a good DIY, and having had bad skin for years, face masks are one of my favourite products to buy! So today I thought I would combine both my love for DIY's and face masks! 

Recently I have been using matcha powder a lot, especially in my smoothies. However matcha powder is actually really good on the skin externally, just as much as it is internally. First of all, it treats inflammation both in rosacea and acne. Matcha powder is actually gentle enough for any skin type, diminishing all redness. It also improves your complexion, and removes dead skin cells, as well as diminishing the signs of aging, and treating oily skin (and all other skin types). Tea tree oil is also really good for the skin, especially acne as it kills any bacteria or infection. 

- 1/2 tablespoon matcha powder

- 3-4 drops tea tree oil

- a dash of water

Enough for 1 mask

Simply mix all these ingredients together and pop it on your face, after having cleansed your skin! If you prefer a thinner consistency use less matcha powder or more water depending on how thick a layer of face mask you apply (bearing in mind this mask is for 1, adding more water will create enough for 2). 

When creating this mask be careful with the matcha powder as it can stain clothes! It is perfectly fine for the skin, but I recommend using a warm washcloth to remove the mask so that you are not scrubbing on the skin. Using micellar water after removing the mask will remove any green residue left over afterwards!

I am absolutely obsessed with musicals, especially in the theatre, but Im not rich so movies are the next best thing! I can in no way, shape, or form sing to save my life, but that doesn't stop me learning every lyric to every song and belting it out in time with the movie. 

I can be very picky with movies, and I have a distinct style, so this is my list of the best musicals (movies) of all time! Let me know if you have seen them too, and which musicals (movies) are your favourites! 

Annie. I actually prefer the remake, more modernized version (I know shock, horror), and Cameron Diaz is absolutely amazing in it! Not going to lie, Im pretty sure Cameron Diaz is in all my favourite movies ;) But the music in this is like none other, and the whole storyline is wonderful! I love all the songs, and just want to sing along with them all! I would seriously love to see the live action version of Annie at the theatre one day!

Matilda. Oh my freaking goodness, Matilda has always been one of my favourite stories! I read the book as a child before I saw the movie or theatre performance, and was totally obsessed with it. I have seen it in theatre at least 3 or 4 times, both in London and Toronto, and every time it just gets better and better! Matilda will always have a special place in my heart, and not going to lie I kind of wish I could be in the live action performance so that I can stand on desks and belt out all the lyrics! Honestly if you have not seen Matilda I don't know who you are. WATCH IT RIGHT NOW. 

Mamma Mia. An absolute CLASSIC. As a child I was obsessed with watching Mamma Mia on repeat. Not kidding, I would literally watch it once, it would finish, and I would press play again without even taking a 5 second break. Mamma Mia has some of THE best songs, and I actually do know every lyric to every song! Amanda Seyfreid is also one of my favourite actresses/singers because of this movie, and I swear you will fall in love with her character too!! It is such an easy watch, and you don't necessarily have to pay attention to the tv to love it! Plus it was filmed in Greece so it has some of the best, prettiest, most aesthetic, scenes! I have seen the stage performance of this one too, though I was not that amazed, the movie was definitely better which is not something I say everyday! 

Finally, the one you have all been waiting for... THE GREATEST SHOWMAN. This one literally blew everyone away when it came out, and for good reasons! The songs are some of the absolute best songs to exist, I know every lyric to every song, and play the album on repeat! My favourite songs are; Tightrope, and Million Dreams. I know a strange two to pick, but really they are just my favourite to sing, even though I cannot sing ;) My dance teacher actually told me she only watched this at the end of April, and I was AMAZED. How could you have avoided watching it for so long?! I have been obsessed with it since January when it came out! The Greatest Showman really does have to be the best one, and if you too haven't seen in yet, what the F are you doing? Grab yourself a cuppa, a lyric sheet, and get watching! 

Well that rounds up my favourite musicals (movies)! There are so many out there, but these ones have to be the all time best that everyone needs to watch in my opinion!

After having a good month of Anxiety in March, April was the opposite. This month has pretty much been full of Anxiety. I was waiting before dance class, and I started having an anxiety attack, so I left. I did manage to go back, but at that point I had already missed half the first class. I was so disappointed and annoyed at myself.

Overall this month I have just been a lot worse than usual. There is so much going on in my life that it all just feels too much. Assignments, fundraisers, prom plans, plus the whole moving back to England thing. Im just so anxious, and feel so alone in it all that it has been affecting me a lot.

I haven't had as much motivation to film videos either, but I think that is mainly to do with the fact that I am so anxious, and don't want to be in front of the camera so much. However that being said, I have grown a little more, views, subscriber count, likes, and watch time which is good!

As far as this blog goes, I haven't been as motivated either, simply because I don't feel great at the moment. That hasn't stopped me from writing and photographing posts though! I have been getting a lot more readers on this blog too which is lovely! This month I reached 20,000 all time page views on this blog, which is really good bearing in mind I only started properly blogging in January, and had roughly 3,000 page views prior to properly starting this blog up!

I have stayed consistently active on Instagram, and I have revamped my Pinterest too! I have been loving Pinterest again, and organized all my boards (how addictive though?!). I started posting my blog photos on Pinterest too. It is really fun to upload your own photos onto Pinterest! P.S if you're not following me on Pinterest already what are you doing? ;) Im also looking for new people to follow with a similar style :) Follow me here! 

I am kind of feeling a bit unmotivated with life too at the moment. I always knew I wanted to do something like photography or filming, and I am going on to study photography this September. However thinking realistically at it, what would I actually do? Freelance photographers barely make any money, and it takes a long time to build up a stream of customers. And all the photography studios include a lot of public interaction, which I am crappy at because I am an anxious wreck. Plus they all prefer to hire people with experience (btw how do you get experience if you need a job to get experience, but to get a job you need experience?). So what the F would I actually do?!

ALSO all this anxiety has caused me to get a cold, which I am SO thankful for. Not. I know it is anxiety that caused a weakened immune system, because I always get a cold when I am going through a tough time. On the plus side it has given my mind something else to think about.
